Sofitel Luang Prabang (formerly Hotel de la Paix) is a luxury boutique hotel in Luang Prabang with a modern design, spacious accommodation and high levels of service.

The hotel is just 5 minutes from the old town of Luang Prabang but offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside.

Each of the spacious 23 Suites are located in restored heritage buildings which have been given a 'kiss of the modern city' in a tasteful and award winning development.

Suites & Pool Villa

All of Sofitel Luang Prabang's 23 luxury suites are housed within the restored UNESCO Heritage colonial buildings, designed to send you back to the future, seamlessly interweaving colonial heritage and contemporary chic.

Traditional Lao accents, bold flourishes, elements of wow and whimsy are combined with private walled gardens, or private plunge pools.

Capacious sofas and armchairs, opulent bed linens, Rainforest showers and outsized indoor-outdoor bathtubs cosset you in comfort.

Furnishings include a writing desk and sofa and bathrooms have a separate bathtub and shower.

Choose between Garden and Heritage Suites.

Garden Suites are 46-56 sq. m. in size and open on to a private high walled garden.

Heritage Suites are larger (70 sq. m) and feature high ceilings, Lao silk decorations and a garden with outdoor gazebo and bathtub.

Pool Villas are 55 sq. m. in size and feature a generously sized outdoor plunge pool.

The Governor's Residence offers a palatial 120 sq. m. of space and features high ceilings and generous sitting and dining areas.
