Laos offer some spectacular natural attractions including the Mekong River, the limestone mountains and caves around Vang Vieng, the Bolavens Plateau and numerous impressive waterfalls in the South including the largest falls in South East Asia.

Opportunities to view in Laos are limited although the Elephant Conservation Centre close to Luang Prabang is highly recommended in order to get up close the Laos' national animal without any necessity to ride them.
