Sanctuary Puku Ridge
Sanctuary Puku Ridge, is as the name suggests, set on a ridge with magnificent views over a floodplain in the game-rich South Luangwa National Park.
With just 7 tented-rooms, Sanctuary Puku Ridge offers game drives, night drives and walking safaris in the South Luangwa National Park.
The camp has been constructed to blend into the local surroundings and designed to leave the lowest possible carbon footprint.
Game viewing is excellent in this area of South Luangwa and game sightings are common from the main area of the camp and also from the tents.
Many visitors come away having experienced superb leopard sightings in particular.
Tents are luxurious and capacious with indoor and outdoor showers. All tents overlook the floodplains and we love the feeling of seeing the sun rise over the plains from the comfort of the large double beds.
What’s so Special?
The location is really special here. Sanctuary Puku Ridge is remote and is about 2 hours from Mfuwe Airport.
The views over the floodplain are a real highlight of a stay at Sanctuary Puku Ridge and game sightings from guest tents are one of the most exciting anticipations of a stay here.
Each tent has a large viewing ‘window’ and a spacious private deck overlooking the plains.
