Zimbabwe Side of Falls
From mid September to early December, waters levels in the Zambezi drop dramatically and a visit to the Zimbabwe side of The Falls is highly recommended for the chance to see plumes of spray and gushing cataracts.
Most of the length of the Zambian side of The Fall’s at this time remains dry. Your guide will collect you from your hotel this morning and you’ll head across the border. En-route, you may be taken past the ‘Big Tree’ where you can stop and take photos.
Your qualified guide will take you through the rainforest while giving you a brief history of the Falls themselves as well as detailing the flora, fauna, bird & wildlife and other points of interest.
These tours are extremely informative and end with a visit to the local art and crafts centre before making your way back to Livingstone town.
