Originally constructed in 1932, the boutique Settha Palace Hotel in Vientiane, has been restored to its former charm.

Re-opened in 1999, the French colonial architecture, period furniture, landscaped gardens and modern facilities are some of the features of this historical landmark in the heart of Vientiane.

The Hotel is located right in the city centre, within walking distance of the commercial district, shops, restaurants and tourist attractions.

The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from the airport and a short walk from the river.

What’s so Special?

The bedrooms at the Settha are very spacious with good bathrooms and attractive antique furniture. The pool is also a big bonus.

The hotel has classic car transfers for those wishing to arrive in style.

Bear in mind

Some guests have commented that although service standards are very high, levels of English amongst some of the staff are not as good as they could be.

Deluxe Room

There are 23 Deluxe Rooms, 12 with King beds and 11 twin bedded rooms.

Deluxe Rooms face the gardens or swimming pool and feature French colonial decor with high ceilings, wooden floorboards and rose wood 2 poster beds.

Other furniture includes a free standing armoire, coffee table, writing desk and a two-seater sofa.

Rooms are very nicely lit and the bedding is a high quality.

Marble bathrooms have a separate bathtub and shower.

Settha Palace also has 1 Junior Suite and 2 Executive Suites.
