Tarangire Treetops is located on a hillside, just under an hour’s drive from the Eastern edge of the Tarangire National Park.

Tarangire Treetops offers 20 ‘Treetop’ rooms set on stilts, raised high up amongst the Baobab Trees – a quite remarkable place to stay.

Rooms all feature wrap-around decks and magnificent views.

Tarangire Treetops offers a very high standard of accommodation, on the same level as its sibling accommodation, namely The Manor, Migration Camp and Arusha Coffee Lodge.

The lounge area overlooks a waterhole, which is a popular spot for elephants in particular when water levels are low elsewhere.

A small swimming pool offers the chance to cool down after a being out on game activities and also offers views across the bush.

What’s so Special?

Bedrooms at Tarangire Treetops are amongst the largest rooms in Tanzania, at over 65 sq. m. so are ideal for those looking for spacious accommodation. The views across the Tarangire Plains of course are incomparable from the elevated setting.

The reception area at Tarangire Treetops is quite a welcome in itself, built as it is around a huge baobab tree.

Bear in Mind

Tarangire Treetops is in the private Lolkisale Concession an hour or so from the edge of the Tarangire National Park. Most game activities take place in the ‘busier’ northern area of Tarangire.

Children are welcome at Treetops although the accommodation is less suitable for younger children.

Cellphone coverage and Wi-Fi is available at Treetops.
