There are several excellent boutique hotels in Laos, especially in Luang Prabang.

Boutique Hotels such as Maison Souvanaphoum and Les 3 Nagas are some of the best places to stay in Laos, offering character, comfort and service.

There are only a couple of very good boutique hotels in Vientiane, the capital of Laos but these are a great alternative to the often poorly managed standard tourist and business hotels in Laos.

Further south there is a great new boutique hotel in Vang Vieng, and Champassak has a nice boutique hotel in the form of the River Resort.
