Authentic Cambodia Holiday

This private tailor made journey is a great introduction to Cambodia, covering Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and Kep and focuses on authentic experiences of Cambodian life and culture, as well as seeing the main sights.

You'll begin in Siem Reap where you'll visit the temples of Angkor over two days. You'll also have two days to get out into the countryside - to Tonle Sap Lake and also into Siem Reap province. On both days you'll get a a great insight into rural life in Cambodia.

We've included a dinner after your visit to Angkor Wat and also a special dining experience in Siem Reap, dining with a cause.

From Siem Reap, fly to the capital Phnom Penh where you will be staying in a great boutique hotel. Many of the staff here come from PSE, a local NGO helping to train children out of destitution and into the hospitality industry.

You'll have a morning walking tour of Phnom Penh which will take you along the backstreets, ending up at the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda.

Cambodia has had a traumatic recent history and to really understand modern day Cambodia it's essential to know something of the difficulties the country has faced and continues to encounter. We have included a visit to the Killing Fields and some time spent in the backstreets of Phnom Penh where you'll learn about a side of the city few visitors experience.

We have included a day in Oudong, which is the former capital of Cambodia. It's a great up-river excursion from Phnom Penh.

From the capital you'll head to the sleepy Kep coast for a 4-night stay in a luxury boutique hotel, formerly a 1950's French villa. It's a beautiful place to stay for the last part of your trip.

We've included a trip to the Bokor National Park, a visit to Kampot, with a Pepper farm tour and cooking class included as well as an excursion to Rabbit Island. We've included a romantic dinner on the pier for your last night.

All of our tours are private tailor made itineraries, customised for you - we can amend things to entirely suit you.

You will have your own private car, driver and guide on excursions.

What are the departure dates?

Which Airlines do you use?

We work with all the major airlines flying to this part of the world.

Typically for Cambodia, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, Emirates or Vietnam Airlines would be airlines we would often use.

However, just let us know your preferred airline if you have one. We can organise flights from any regional destination in the UK.

There are no direct flights from the UK to Cambodia currently.

Which Hotels do you use?

We're careful with our choice of hotels, but we're guided by our customers also. If you have some preferred hotels, just let us know.

We specialise in boutique hotels and so we will often suggest some of our favourite smaller hotels where we think these will be suitable.

We keep on top of hotel developments in Cambodia from our office in Vietnam and regularly inspect the hotels we use.
