This three centre South Africa & Zambia City & Safari holiday covers three superb African destinations in one great southern African adventure which has plenty of excitement and variety.
You'll begin with a 3 night stay in one of the world's most beautiful cities, Cape Town. There's so much to see and do around Cape Town that you may want to consider spending a night or two longer here.
From the Cape, fly to Livingstone on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls. You have two nights here, giving you a full day to explore the Falls. We have included a day tour to visit the Falls from both sides (Zambia and Zimbabwe).
From Livingstone, fly to the South Luangwa, regarded by many safari enthusiasts as one of the very best safari destinations in Africa.
Spend 3 nights in South Luangwa, with game drives and leopard sightings usually a real highlight here.
Zambia offers what many old Africa hands consider the most authentic safari destination and this is the perfect way to experience the Zambian wilderness.
As with all of our African Safari holidays, this one can be tailor made to suit your requirements.

Day 1: Fly UK to Cape Town
Fly from Heathrow to Cape Town via Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines (or with your preferred airline).
Day 2: Cape Town
Connect with your flight to Cape Town with Ethiopian Airlines.
On arrival in Cape Town you will be met and transferred to your hotel by private car.
Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 3: Cape Town
Enjoy the day at leisure.
We've left the day free for you to discover Cape Town independently. If you wish to add on excursions, just let us know - there is so much to see and do around Cape Town.
Day 4: Cape Town
Enjoy the day at leisure.
Today might be a good day to head out to Robben Island, to visit Cape Point or to visit Camps Bay in the evening for dinner as the sun goes down.
Day 5: Victoria Falls
You will be collected from your hotel in Cape Town and transferred to the airport by private car for your onward flight.
Fly to Livingstone direct with Kenya Airways.
On arrival in Livingstone you will be met and transferred to your chosen accommodation.
Day 6: Victoria Falls
Today we have included a full day excursion to the Victoria Falls.
You'll be collected from your lodge and taken to all the best viewpoints on both sides of the falls. You'll see the Devil's Cataract, the Liivingstone Statue, the Main Falls, Horse Shoe Falls and Rainbow Water Fall on the Zimbabwe side.
On the Zambian side you'll also have a visit to the Museum in Livingstone as well as visiting the main view points, Knife Edge Island and Boiling Point.
Day 7: South Luangwa National Park
You will be collected from your accommodation and transferred to the airport by private vehicle for your flight to South Luangwa.
Fly to Mfuwe via Lusaka with Proflight Zambia.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your safari lodge in the South Luangwa National Park.
Upon arrival in camp, take it easy and relax after your journey, a sundowner in camp is a great start to your 3 nights bush experience.
Your game-viewing will be a mixture of walking and driving safaris.
Day 8: South Luangwa National Park
Walking safaris are one of the main activities in this pristine place, a chance to explore the bush on a different level.
Under the guidance of the camps professional guides and escorted by an armed park scout, you’ll embark on a slow-paced wander looking for different wildlife species and taking the time to hear about nature’s wonders too often overlooked on game drives.
Exploring the bush on foot, being on the ground in the vicinity of wild animals is exhilarating and a highlight of most people's Zambian safari.
Walking safaris often begin and end at the camp.
Of course if you don't wish to go on a walking safari, you don't have to - the Game Drives are excellent.
Day 9: South Luangwa National Park
Choose your safari activities.
Zambia is famous for its excellent walking safaris and this is a great chance to experience what it is like to be on foot in the remote African bush.
The concentration of game around the Luangwa River and its ox bow lagoons is amongst the most intense in Africa.
The South Luangwa National Park is renowned for its Walking Safaris, which allows visitors to view elephant, hippo and even lion close-up under the supervision of professional and knowledgeable armed guides.
Day 10: Fly back to the UK
You will be collected from your lodge and transferred to Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Lusaka.
Fly to Lusaka with Proflight Zambia.
Fly from Lusaka to Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines to connect with your flight back to the UK.
Day 11: Arrive UK
Fly from Addis Ababa to Heathrow with Ethiopian Airlines.
Arrive back in the UK.
