Madikwe is malaria-free and an excellent choice for families and offers a fabulously varied landscape which supports a huge variety of wildlife.

In Madikwe you can expect to see the Big 5 (Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Lion, Rhino), African Wild Dog, Cheetah, Giraffe, Hyena, Jackal, Zebra and some beautiful antelope species.

Day 1: UK - South Africa

Overnight flight from the UK to Johannesburg.

Day 2: Madikwe Private Game Reserve

On arrival into Johannesburg, you will catch your shared charter flight to Madikwe Game Reserve located in the remote North West Province of South Africa which lies up against the border of Botswana, where you will stay at your chosen safari lodge.

On arrival at the reserve airstrip, your safari guide will be waiting to meet and transfer you to the game lodge of your choice where you will stay 4 nights.

Overight Madikwe. All meals & game activities included.

Day 3 - 5: Madikwe Private Game Reserve

Typical day on safari includes a 3-4 hour morning and afternoon shared game drive where you head out in search of the Big Five: Elephant, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino as well as all the other localised game. In between game drives, you can relax by the pool side or in the comfort of your room.

On arrival into Johannesburg, catch your onward flight to the Lowveld (Sabi Sand / Kruger area) where you will be met and transferred by road to your preferred safari camp or game lodge for 4 nights of unparalleled comfort and Big 5 Game viewing.

The Sabi Sands reserve borders the Kruger National Park which is in the Mpumulanga region of South Africa and forms the generic area known as the Lowveld, which also borders with Mozambique on the North Eastern side of the country.
