Banyan Tree Ringha
Located in the Ringha Valley between the towns of Lijiang and Zhongian (Shangri-La), the Banyan Tree Ringha is a unique 32 room hotel consisting of wood-poled lodges set on the slope of a steep valley.
This region of China on the border of Tibet is truly spectacular, with fluttering prayer flags, colourfully clad people and wild yaks grazing on vast meadows.

The lodges are very traditional wooden Tibetan buildings. Rooms are absolutely huge and we love the bathrooms.
Sitting on the terrace overlooking the river is a great way to while away an hour or two.
