Clove Villa is a modern, stylish and very attractive boutique hotel in Kandy offering just seven beautiful rooms, picked right out of an artist's colour palette.

Owned by Charlie and Sam, an Australian couple, Clove Villa Kandy offers something quite different from the more common colonial influenced boutique hotels in Sri Lanka and will suit those looking for something quite contemporary and stylish.

There are just 7 rooms at Clove Villa, each furnished in a unique style and warm and vibrant colours.

What’s so Special?

Smart and stylish, Clove Villa is a vibrant new addition to the growing number of boutique hotels in Sri Lanka.

Bear in mind

Clove Villa is in an isolated location outside Kandy so it's not convenient for eating at local restaurants or 'popping out to the shops'.

The hotel also doesn't have a license to serve alcohol but you can bring your own if you wish and the hotel will chill your drinks for you.

Ebony & Ivory

Black and white and beautiful, this Deluxe Room sports contemporary décor. The room features a mahogany Four-poster King-size bed, sculptured bathroom with double sink and a carefully manicured roof garden – ideal for an evening stroll.

Two comfortable wing chairs, a writing desk and coffee table are additional features.

Oceanic Odyssey

Experience the calm of the sea in the midst of the hills by slipping into an Oceanic Odyssey. With its sea foam whites and deep-water blues, this Superior Room is made for relaxation.

Oceanic Odyssey has two elegant Single Mahogany Beds and an Executive Desk and Chair.

Forever Turquoise

Turquoise is a lovely room – a world of blues and greens with hi-tech features.

Turquoise has an elegant King-size Teak Bed, comfortable Wing Chairs and an executive desk and chair.

Golden Infinity

With its spacious interior decorated in brilliant shades of gold, this Superior Room offers a glimpse of the high life, overlooking the Villa’s beautiful pool.

Green Haven

Green Haven has a Queen-size bed and adjacent master bathroom. The private balcony offers views towards Kandy.

Lavender Fields

Lavender – with a private balcony.

Raspberry Dream

Raspberry Dream is a Deluxe Room with playful pinks and soothing silvers. Mahogany furniture and a King-size Four-poster bed create a lush feel. The TV is larger in this room too (40-inch).
