Coco Tangalla is a 6-bedroomed black and white colonial villa, with stunning sea views, which can be booked by the room or as a whole house.
A stay at Coco Tangalla is ideal for those looking for a relaxing location from which to explore this region of Sri Lanka, with its variety of wildlife, cultural and heritage destinations nearby.
The main house has four bedrooms and an adjoining annex with an additional two bedrooms.
Interiors are stylishly decorated with a mixture of modern furniture and period antiques, local art, with infusions of colour and exotic fabrics.
The living and dining areas have art deco touches, creating a warm and informal environment.
The infinity edge swimming pool is located just a few steps below the main house overlooking the Ocean.
What’s so Special?
Coco Tangalla is one of the most quirky and stylish beach hotels in Sri Lanka.
A large ambalama runs alongside the house, with spectacular sea views, and is ideal for lounging on huge cushions, enjoying something to eat or retreating with a good book.
The location equidistant between Galle, Yala National Park and Udawalawe means the location is great for day trips. Whale watching and turtle beaches are easily reached.
Bear in mind
Consider taking the air taxi from Colombo to Dikwella, which is only 15 minutes from Coco Tangalla.
We have options for Half and Full Board if required.
Swimming in the sea on the adjacent small beach isn’t really recommended, but is possible on a beach within easy walking distance and there are numerous good beaches nearby.
The layout of the property makes it unsuitable for children under 8 years old.
