Dolphin Beach is set on the golden sand of Alankuda Beach in Kalpitiya, in a location with some of the best dolphin watching in Sri Lanka.
Dolphin Beach’s spacious, air-conditioned tents offer a great value but comfortable beach stay in Kalpitya in a perfect location for some post tour or safari beach-time with whale and dolphin watching at hand, in season.
Dotted amidst a grove of coconut palms, and set well apart, Dolphin Beach’s custom-made tents take their names from different species of dolphins – Spinner, Bottlenose, Humpback, Risso’s, Fraser, Spotted and Striped.
Each tent features a spacious veranda, providing welcome shade during the day.
Interiors offer king-sized beds and unique furnishings, with chic en-suite bathrooms, complete with Rainforest showers.

Nearby Bar Reef has some of the best snorkelling in Sri Lanka, and of course the chance to spot dolphins and whales on the way.
