Thanda Safari Lodge’s public areas are colourful and drenched in light, with touches of beading, welcoming leather and authentic wood. Very popular is the inviting library, which overlooks a waterhole favoured by elephant and other game.

The Main Lodge at Thanda Private Game Reserve has nine luxurious bush villas, each with its own separate lounge, oval shaped bath, indoor and outdoor showers and stunning views of the surrounding game reserve.

The villas at Thanda Private Game Reserve have a thatched outdoor game viewing deck and infinity pool that offer solace from the summer heat. They are also equipped with private bomas for intimate and romantic dining experiences.

Thanda Private Game Reserve also offers a tented safari camp option, which is much more of a traditional colonial safari style experience with just 4 tents.
