Cape Town, Wine & Whales

This itinerary offers the best of the Western Cape, but is only really suitable if you want to whale watch between the months of August and October when Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales return to the Cape coast for mating and to give birth.

The Southern and Eastern Cape offers some of the finest ‘land based’ whale watching in the word, in particular the coastal towns of Hermanus, De Kelders, Gansbaai and Plettenberg Bay (on the Garden Route).

Begin with four nights in Cape Town, one of the world’s most beautifully located cities. In Cape Town you have the chance to explore the beautiful Cape Coast and admire the view from the top of Table Mountain.

From Cape Town you'll be transferred to the Cape Wine Lands for three nights where you'll have the chance to enjoy great food and the charm of the scenic location.

Your South African holiday culminates with 3 nights on South Africa's Whale Coast at Hermanus, the world's most famous land based whale watching location.
