Search for leopards in the Yala National Park before heading to Galle with its atmospheric Fort and colonial heritage.

Day 1: Fly UK to Muscat

Overnight flight UK to Muscat.

Day 2: Muscat

Transfer to hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight Muscat.

Day 3: Nizwa & Hajar Mountains

Pick up rental car. Drive to Hajar Mountains and Nizwa.

Overnights Nizwa. Breakfast included.

Day 4: Wahiba Sands

Drive south to designated meeting point. Leave car overnight and be transferred to desert camp for overnight desert stay.

Overnight Wahiba Sands. Breakfast & Dinner included.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands - Sur

Transfer back to the car and carry on the drive south to the coastal town of Sur. Destination for the night is Ras Al Jinz with its Turtle Sanctuary. Moonlight turtle watching.

Overnight Ras Al Jinz Breakfast included.

Day 6: Sur - Muscat

Drive back to Muscat along the stunning coastal road, passing by Wadis and small villages.

Drop the car at the airport for the overnight flight to Colombo. Breakfast included.

Day 7: Kotugoda

On Arrival, transfer to Kotugoda, about 30 minutes drive. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight Kotugoda. Breakfast included.

Day 8: Sigiriya – Pinnawela - Dambulla

Transfer to Sigiriya, famous for its spectacular rock fortress.

Visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawela and the Golden Temple Caves in Dambulla, which contain beautiful paintings of the Buddha.

Overnight Sigiriya. Breakfast included.

Day 9: Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa

Visit and climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress. In the afternoon enjoy sightseeing in Polonnaruwa, the ancient capital of Sri Lanka.
