Mahagiri Villas is one of Sanur’s best boutique hotels, offering just 17 luxury villas in a quiet village-like setting in Sanur, an ideal choice for couples looking for a romantic holiday or honeymoon to Bali.
Villas are stylishly designed, melding the natural and contemporary and are completely private - perfect for honeymooners. All villas have a private pool, long enough for a bit of a swim – they’re not merely ‘plunge pools’.
The 2,3 and 4 Bedroom Villas are ideal for families also as self-contained units. Although Mahagiri Villas isn’t on the beach in Sanur, they do have a beach ‘club’ area with towels and drinks etc and a free shuttle to and from the beach.
Most guests are very happy with the privacy of the villas and pool however.
For couples looking to be cocooned away in a completely private luxury villa with large private pool and garden, a DVD with 200 movies, afternoon tea delivered, inexpensive spa treatments on the doorstep and a dreamy tropical ambience, Mahagiri Villas could be just perfect.
What’s so Special?
Mahagiri’s staff get very good feedback from clients, who appreciate the attentive but unobtrusive style. The spa is very popular, especially the in-villa massages.
Bear in Mind
Mahagiri Villas isn’t on the beach and it is a bit of a walk to the beach (about 10 minutes or so) through labyrinthine Sanur village streets. The hotel runs a free shuttle however, has bikes and a taxi will cost no more than a dollar each way.
One-bedroom Villas
Set serenely in the rear cluster of Mahagiri Villas, the 8 One-bedroom villas are designed with simplicity and style with a warm ambience, combining the design of a Balinese compound with modern convenience.
Each villa features a tropical garden, living and dining areas and a kitchen. Wooden floors, huge King-size beds and large bathtubs big enough for two create a feeling of luxury, ideal for couples.
Gardens have generously sized swimming pools, sun loungers, a small dining table and chairs. There is also a nice outdoor rainforest shower.
Two-bedroom villas
There are 6 Two-bedroom villas, featuring a master bedroom with King-size bed and a separate twin-bedded room.
Three-bedroom villas
The 3 Three-bedroom villas are ideal for larger families or groups of friends and can accommodate up to 6 adults and 2 children.
The master bedroom in red décor features a King-size bed and separate dressing area. The Second bedroom in Princely blue has a Queen-size bed.
The Three-bedroom villa features a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious garden with gazebo.
Four Bedroom Villa
The Four-bedroom villa consists of a Master bedroom, two large bedrooms and a Queen-size ‘Kid’s’ Room connecting to on the main bedrooms. Spacious living and dining areas and a kitchenette are located in a separate building.
The villa is equipped with a large swimming pool, a gazebo and a pair of sun loungers.
Dining
Mahagiri Villas, Sanur, has its own restaurant and lounge in a tropical garden setting for in-house wining and dining.
This stylish open-plan facility serves an extensive menu of cuisine with a distinct focus on locally sourced ingredients and seasonal delicacies.
A romantic barbeque dinner can be arranged on request for a more intimate villa experience.
Mahagiri's culinary team will create a sumptuous menu that is perfect to be served in a candlelight setting by the pool.
Fragrant flowers and soft music make a memorable evening under the stars.
Breakfast or dinner can be served in your villa.
