There are just 18 Suites and Villas at Wapa Di Ume which is an intimate boutique resort in a sublime setting about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Ubud.
The resort is located in a tranquil setting by rice paddies, with suites and villas scattered along a gentle hillside.
The feel is very natural in this boutique Ubud resort, reflecting the surroundings.
Natural textures and colours pervade, with dressed slate, tiles, smooth unpainted wood, soft homespun, fabrics, intricate worked copper, fragrant alang-alang grass roofing, natural bamboo, rough cut stone, flowers and foliage.
Some Villas have private swimming pools, whilst Suites have a separate bathtub overlooking the rice paddies.
Lanai Rice Terrace Rooms have a private bathroom with sunken bath and a balcony overlooking the rice fields and some rooms have an outside garden shower.
What’s so Special?
We love Wapa Di Ume's location amongst the rice paddies. It doesn’t really get much more peaceful or Balinese than this, especially when the paddies are carpeted in bright green rice stalks, ready for harvesting.
Wapa Di Ume has a great little pool.

The 4 Di Ume Suites are luxurious naturally finished suites on the second floor with king-size beds, sofa beds, bathrooms with sunken baths and a wide balcony with dining table overlooking the rice fields.
The 4 new Di Ume Suite Extensions are perched slightly higher on the riverbank and also feature sunbeds on the balconies.

Yoga Classes
There is a spacious upper level yoga room overlooking lush green palm trees and panoramic rice terraces.
Learn techniques to still the mind, strengthen the body and expand consciousness using posture, breath work, meditation and relaxation.
Classes are conducted by Mr. Suweca an experienced Balinese yoga instructor from the religious village of Mas. The class is suitable for beginner to advanced practitioners.
