South Africa April

Western Cape

This is a lovely time of year with temperatures setting down to the mid twenties and by now the evenings will start to feel a bit cooler and the sun sets noticeably earlier as you enter into early Autumn.

The temperatures around this time of year can be in the mid to high twenties. Night temperatures can drop to the mid / low teens.

Inland areas: Northern Cape, North West, Limpopo, Gauteng & the Lowveld

As you head towards Autumn the daytime temperatures start to come down and the skies loose the heavier building of clouds as the rains start to disappear. Towards the latter part of the month, it will start to cool off some more and the night time temperatures will drop to the low teens.

KwaZulu-Natal

This time of year is usually when it’s at it’s best with protracted periods of sunshine along the coast and lovely clear days in the inland and mountains. Humidity levels will reduce at this time of year making it feel more comfortable during the night times.

Inland temperatures will be a bit cooler as you head up into and higher into the mountains.
